I am seeking information on James ANDERSON. He was born March 1, 1844 (location unknown) and died Mar 16, 1904. He married Laura MCNITT, born July 5, 1853 (location unknown), died Jan 25 1889 in Benton County, IA, and is buried at the Big Grove Cemetery in Garrison, IA. They had a boy - Lester Elijah ANDERSON, born Sept 14, 1886 in Garrison, Benton County, IA who died Oct 11 1965 in Waterloo, Blackhawk County, IA. Lester married Myrtle Elizabeth WOLFE, born Apr 5, 1886 in Garrison, Benton County, IA and died Dec 22, 1957 in Minneapolis, MN.

Larue Cemetery: Big Grove Township near Van Horne, Keystone, and Garrison, IA. These are the names in this cemetery: Aaron, John J., Asenath, Isaac, Hannah, Chambers C. LARUE. Stella VARNEY, Charles THOMPSON, Chancie E SHAFFER, Alice COOMER, Sarah HOKE, Naomi JACOBS, Annie SMITH, Infants of Wm & H.B. THOMPSON, there are four other stones I can not read. SMITH, Lindsay, was my paternal grandfather. Married to SMITH, Minnie Gertrude, my paternal. Two children, Merle (deceased in WWII) and Paul LINDSAY, my father. My father was reportedly born (and raised) in Dysart, Iowa, 1922. My father says the family originally came from KY. Thanks for any help you can give.

KNUTSON,Knute(1846-1919) married to OLSON, Rachel (Reikjel)(1854-1933) in Norway, Iowa, 14 November, 1873, by H.E. Spurrier(Spoyer), a Justice of the Peace. Does anyone have the obituary for Wilber Judd HARDING, born January 4, 1868, or at least a death date for him? He was an important man who lived in Keystone, IA for many years, as editor and publisher of the Keystone Bulletin "since 1912", and was on County Board of Education for 12 years, and wrote "The Hardings" (1907) and "The Hardings in America" (1925). I would greatly appreciate your help.

GILE- Taylor twp. Benton Co. 1870-1890 I have Charity GILE there in 1860 I am trying to find Spencert Albert GILE, b. April 21 1871, reportedly in Grinnell, who is possibly her grandson. No birth record at Grinnell and no GILE family there at that time I am looking for census evidence OF GILE families between 1871 and 1893 to identify his parents. Charity's husband, John GILE, probably died there between 1855 and 1860 - looking for his grave.
