I'm looking for more information about my ancestors who lived in Vinton, Benton, IA. Names are Frances SAUNDERS, b abt 1783 Pittsylvania, VA. married Stacia Mays, b abt 1790, Pittsylvania, VA. They moved to Benton County, IA. Their daughter Stacia Ann Saunders married John Alexander Davis b 1825, Belmont, OH. May 1847 in Danville, Vermillion, IL. John A. and Stacy moved on to Augusta, Butler, KS. J.A. was son of William Davis, probably b in VA, lived in Belmont, OH. Davis is so common it is difficult. Thank you very much.

George BAILEY married Barbara VARNER on 21 November 1850 in Belmont County, Ohio. They later moved to Benton County, Iowa where he died on 13 March 1871. THOMPSON-FELKER--Am looking for information about the families of George Thompson and Florence Felker Thompson. He died about 1900 as the result of an industrial accident at age 48. She died in 1952. She lived on E 5th Ave in Vinton until her death. My Great grandmother. WARNER--Looking for information about the family of Erwin Warner, my Great-great uncle. He was born in Northhampton Co, Pa 1-26-1850 and died in Vinton on 11-16-1922. He was married, but that is all I know about him and his immediate family. His brother Was Peter Warner of Vinton and his sisters were Gertrude Warner ??? and Elizabeth Warner Bender--also of Vinton.

BAKER: Emanuel Baker of Bedford Co., PA came to Benton Co. in 1855 to settle in Eldorado Twp. He was later joined by brothers Lloyd Russel Baker and John Baker. Looking for Martin RINDERKNECHT b abt 1814 Germany. Emigrated late 1850's may have stayed in Penn a short time. In 1860, he applied for citizenship in Linn Co. (second marriage?) to Margaret ? in 1864. Their dau, Christena b 25 Oct 1865 lived in Palo Iowa. After 1870 Census Martin disappeared. They had other children, one named Joe.
