Resignations received by the MAC board included Ray Coffey and Aaron Comer.

Monica Taylor of Mount Ayr has been chosen by American Legion Auxiliary Unit #172 of Mount Ayr to attend the annual session of the Iowa Amercian Legion Auxiliary Girls State to be held on the campus of ISU in Ames.

The annual kids fishing day was held at Fife's Grove Park north of Mount Ayr Sunday. Myles Greene caught the first fish; Corbin Swank caught the largest number of fish with eight; and Connor Giles caught the largest fish, a catfish.

Five MACS teachers received their master of education degrees recently. They were Karen Taylor, Jane Ulenkamp, Stasia Nickle, Angela Dodge and Scott Giles
