Mount Ayr has its first National Merit Scholarship semi-finalist in six years. Stacey JENNINGS of Ellston, a Mount Ayr Community High School senior, was named today as one of 15,000 semi-finalists from across the country in the program.

The Raiders defeated Lenox with a score of 40-7.

Two Assemblies of God missionary families will be visiting Mount Ayr next week to share their experiences.
