Officers of the Mount Ayr Ministerial Association for the next six months are Rev. W. E. DARROW, president; Rev. L. C. SWAN, vice-president;
and Rev. R. M. SHIPMAN, secretary-treasurer.
Louise ASKREN was the successful candidate for the office of county superintendent of schools in the convention of school board
presidents held this morning. Her term of office which is for a period of three years, will begin September first. Miss ASKREN graduated
from the Mount Ayr High School in 1903, since which time she has taught school, being at present a teacher in the Marshalltown schools.
John T. OYLER, his wife and four children came Monday from Kansas City, to take a position in the Record-News office. Mr. OYLER
is a first-class printer.
Charles MAPEL and family will move this week to Leland, Ill., where Mr. MAPEL has accepted a position as bookkeeper for E. A. DANIELSON,
who is engaged in the hardware and automobile business.
KELLERTON - Allie KING who has been employed at the Globe office, went Saturday to Mount Ayr, where she has accepted a position
with the Mount Ayr Journal. Miles MOORE has gone to Tucumari N. M., where he has employment on the railroad. Mrs. MOORE and baby
will join him after a visit with relatives here.
DELPHOS - Mr. and Mrs. Frank VARNER, Betha FRIGGITH, Pearle BRAMON, Amy SEFRIT, Mayme BLUNK, Madge SPENCER, Bessie SEFRIT, George AGEE,
Clyde RICE, Percy SPENCER, George LINK, Charlie SEFRIT and Merritt SPENCER returned Saturday morning from Kellerton, where they had been
to give their play.
BIRTHS
Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Guy MOORE, of Rice township, April 6, a son, Paul Linden. Weight, ten pounds.
