Mount Ayr Personels
Not all family reunions can be like the WOODS' family gathering of 140 (give or take) that was held back in August. But,
on Thursday, September 13, a modest group of eight WOOLLUMS family members made their appearance at Clearview Estates
where they enjoyed a lovely lunch. Jessie WOOLLUMS welcomed guests to her new home and they gathered like flies.
Jessie's daughter, Cathy WESTERMAN came from Colorado Springs, CO. Janette MATHEWS, a niece, came from Davenport and acted
as chauffeur. She picked up Reba SCHMIDT, Jessie's sister-in-law, in Williamsburg before retrieving her mother, Helen
WOOLLUMS in Des Moines and her brother, John WOOLUMS from Norwalk. Sally WOOLLUMS of Kellerton completed the circle of
sisters-in-law. To add a little humor to the festivities, they retrieved Pauline WOODS, a double cousin to some,
comedienne to all. It was a wonderful day.
