Frank, the son of Alexander S. and Elizabeth J. (STUART) WILEY, was born in Mount Ayr on September 26, 1861. He married Lucy McCARNEY in 1885. Lucy, the daughter of Jacob Robert and Mary Ann (TRUEAX) McCARTNEY, was born in Winamac, Pulaski County, Indiana on June 21, 1867, and died in Ringgold County, Iowa, on February 20, 1898 at the age of 30. Frank was a furniture dealer and undertaker. He died at the age of 83 years on May 10, 1945, Monrovia, Los Angeles County, California.

Jessie Cleveland (WILEY) WEAVER, the eldest of the WILEY children, was born in Ringgold County on February 29, 1886, and died in Duarte, Los Angeles County, California, on April 25, 1967. The other Wiley children were: Bessie E. (WILEY) WARD (1888-1961), Charles Earl WILEY (1890-1918), Robert WILEY (1891-1899), and Lucy (WILEY) STEPHENSON (1898-ca. 1980).
