The Watterson reunion was held Sept. 10, 2005 about a half mile southwest of the old Watterson store. The event started at 4 p.m. with folks seeing old friends and getting updated on each other's families. A potluck supper was enjoyed by all at 6 p.m. Vernadean (HACKER) BUCHAN led the prayer with words of praise and thanksgiving. Four tables were required to hold all the food.

Live music was provided by Ronnie RAUCH and his band which included Debbie TONEY of Decatur, Charlies PEARCY of Weldon; Russ WRIGHT of Humeston and Jimmy HORTON of Corydon.

During musical intermissions a few folks shared stories about Watterson and the people who made up the community. This year's storytellers were Junior WION, Vernadean (HACKER) BUCHAN, Dale ARNOLD and Phyllis KIMBALL.

A great time was had by all and we hope to see you next year at the fifth annual Watterson reunion.
