Saturday, June 25, the week-end started pretty wet. The golfers gathered at Mount Ayr Country Club and tried to outlast the rain-drops. They ate lunch early and then headed out to the course after the sun peeked out.

The women and men both golfed at Mount Ayr. There were 20 men and women.

The crowd was also down at karaoke at G & L later in the evening with Lynn RINEHART'S entertainment.

Sunday, June 26, several gathered at the Diagonal community building for a noon potluck meal and much visiting, eating and picture taking.

Due to many other commitments and many of ill health, there were 64 present. There were three of the six new babies.

Tate TAYLOR was the youngest present.

There was one marriage and one death.

Floyd's family had the most present.

Those present: Edna JONES, Sandy TAYLOR, Kathy RINEHART, Darla SOBOTKA, Nolan and Stephanie NEWTON, Chris and Patty EATON, Logan, Connor and Abby of Mount Ayr; Megan JONES and friend, Levi and Anna JONES of Des Moines: Ryan and Janelle TAYLOR, Kayson of West Des Moines; Rusty and Tami BURLINGTON of Kansas City, MO; Jan SLAYBAUGH of Independence, MO; Doug and Anna TAYLOR of Saint Joseph, MO; Blair and Martina TAYLOR, Tate of Nevada; Mary and Dave McCALLEY of Cedar Falls; Scott and Niky TAYLOR, Brittlyn and Duke of Waukee; Shon and Karen BERRY, Lindsay and Austin and Mike and Jean Ann TAYLOR of Creston; Justin and Teena JONES, Derek and MaKel of Tingley; Dick and Jani TAYLOR, Jack and Dixie TAYLOR, Claire and Judy NEWTON, Jim and Patty NNEWTON, Claire GRACE, Steve and Terri NEWTON, Ethan, Emily and Anna, Brooklyn BROWN and Jim and Lisa TAYLOR, Jacob, Ty, Bailey and Caleb of Diagonal.

They hope to see more next year in 2012.
