The last weekend of June (June 27 and 28) found the members of the James R. and Nellie TAYLOR family gathering for their annual family reunion. The weather was sunny and not too hot. Early Saturday morning 31 men golfers began their day golfing at the Mount Ayr Golf and Country Club. The lady golfers number 28 golfed at the Lenox golf club. All had fun and enjoyed lunch together at Mount Ayr. Following eating, prizes were presented and all went their separate ways.

Later several went to G & L in Diagonal and enjoyed the entertainment of Bionca and backup singers. Many took part in the karaoke until the late hours.

Those who were able to attend only on Saturday were katie SCHWENNSEN-JONES and Megan, Gary and Jean TAYLOR, Steve and Jean JONES, Tanner RINEHART, Lynn and Kathy RINEHART, Todd and Staci JONES, Zach JONES, Rob JONES, Scott JONES, Todd SPEC, Nick SPEC, Twyla BRECKENRIDGE and friend Don, Roma TAYLOR HALSEY and Dixie and Jim LINKEY.

On Sunday many gathered at the Diagonal community building for a potluck dinner. There were 104 present there and there were many pictures taken and all departed to their homes after a fun weekend.

There were seven new babies, two of which were present, Kennedy STRIDER and Kayson TAYLOR. There was one death and five marriages in the past year.

Curt TURNER'S family was all present and so was all of Judy's family. Clifford's family and Floyd's family both had 30 members present.
