Groves/Andrews Reunion
The GROVES/ANDREWS Reunion was held on Saturday, July 28 at 10 a.m. for a brunch at the Waubonsie Center in Benton with
49 in attendance. Those gathering are descendents and extended family of Maude (GROVES) ANDREWS and Perle (PJ) ANDREWS.
Those hosting this year's event were Karen (ANDREWS) ROUB from Alpharetta, GA and Teresa (ANDREWS) JACKSON, Tony SICKELS
and Katie SICKELS from Mount Ayr. Those also helping and Attending were Bill and Phyllis ANDREWS of Benton; Bob ANDREWS
of Benton, Kenneth and Glea ANDREWS of Mt. Ayr, Amanda (JACKSON) OVERHOLSER, husband Tomie OVERHOLSER and children Abbi and
Brodie, all of Maloy,; Randy and Becky ANDREWS and daughter Nora of Benton; Rick and Vickie ANDREWS of Lawrence, KS; Cody
(MURRAY) RAY and Danny RAY and baby Maddisen of Mount Ayr; Courtney MURRAY and fiance Brian SHEIL and son Jacob of Mount
Ayr; Michael MURRAY of Alpharetta, GA; Kevin and Melissa ANDREWS of Leon and Waukee; Kory ANDREWS of Leon,; Ryan and
Kelsey BROCKLEMAN of Des Moines; Kent ANDREWS and family from Minnesota; Leroy (Bud) BUCY of Creston; Jean (BUCY) BARNES
of Altantic; Dick BUCY and family of Des Moines; Sharon and Red ELLIOTT of Belvadere, IL; Lynda (ELLIOTT) EDWARDS and
girls from Texas, and Alice (COURTNEY) ELLIOTT of Des Moines. Brunch and lots of visiting made this reunion a success.
Hopefully a few more will be able to come next year. Tentative date for next year is the Saturday before the Iowa State
Fair 2013 for a 10 a.m. brunch.
