Caldwell Reunion
The descendants of Henry David CALDWELL and Luella GRAHAM CALDWELL met together at Benton at the community building on
August 3, 2003. Forty-one were present to enjoy the dinner and visiting. After dinner the group enjoyed a special
time. A bouquet of red roses was given to our aunt, Velma CALDWELL of Mount Ayr. What an honor to have her present.
She is the wife of the late Glen CALDWELL. David Henry and Luella CALDWELL has six children: Clyde of Oregon;
Bertha CALDWELL SHIELDS; Irma CALDWELL SMITH; Elsie CALDWELL RICHARDSON; Burr CALDWELL of Mount Ayr and Redding;
and Glen CALDWELL of Mount Ayr. Velma is the only living aunt remaining. Those attending were: Velma CALDWELL, Randy,
Karen, Andrea and Nick TAYLOR and Burl and Helen STULL, all of Mount Ayr; Steven and Janice CALDWELL, Ed and Phyllis
BRYAN, Melissa BRYAN, Marilyn and Corby KIMBLE, Jack and Linda WEESE, and Jim, Nancy, Jami, Alison and Bryanne HOWARD,
all of the Des Moines area; Allan and Jane JONES, Cami and Skye CAPLAN, Lula CALDWELL and Ronald and Dianne CALDWELL,
all of the Kansas City area; Kenneth and Ruby SCHOONOVER of Deepwater, MO; Luella YOUNG of Creston; Jack, Becky and
Mary CALDWELL of Delphos; Nathan, Stasia and Brynn NICKLE of Clearfield; and Ju Lee CALDWELL of Altoona. Also
attending were three visitors: Annabelle KNIGHT and Eva KNAPP of Mount Ayr and Trisha ZEIBELL of Des Moines. Brynn
NICKLE is the newest baby of the family. The group plans to meet again next year at the same place.
