David Henry Caldwell Reunion
A potluck dinner was enjoyed by members of the David Henry CALDWELL family on Sunday, August 11. 2002. A blessing was
given by Kenneth SCHOONOVER. All enjoyed the food. The program was started by all singing "God Bless America." What
a privilege. Slides of a former reunion in 1977 were shown. Many have left use to carry on the tradition of an annual
reunion. Gifts were give to the oldest member, Velma CALDWELL; to the one coming the farthest, Roena HUGHES of Portland,
OR; and to the youngest, baby Kylee TAYLOR of Mount Ayr. Visitng and stories were the main entertainment until
picture taking became very important to all. Those attending were: Debbie GIBSON, Tiffany and Aaron from Weatherford,
TX; Rosemary BAGLEY, Martinez, CA; Darren BALEY and guest Vicki CRAWFORD, Ohio; Lori WATSON, D.J. and Tilly, Calfornia,
MO; Roena HUGHES, Portland, OR; Cindy LOMBARDINO, Bonner Springs,KS; and Ken and Ruby SCHOONOVER, Deepwarter, MO.
Attending from the Kansas City area were: Lyla CALDWELL, Rayton, MO; David, Roseanna and Maria CALDWELL, Lee's Summit,
MO; Ronald CALDWELL, Kansas City North; Evalyn KNAPP, Shawnee, KS; Chris and Jacquelin STREUER, Raytown, MO; and
Cami CAPLAN and guest of Kansas City, MO. Guests from the Des Moines area were: Tim and Nancy HOWARD, Jami, Alison and
Bryanne, Urbandale; Ed and Phyllis BRYAN, Clive; Steve CALDWELL and Jacob CADWELL, Des Moines; and Brian, Jennifer and
Alexis and Gabe LYDDON, Des Moines. From the Ringgold County area were: Velma CALDWELL, Helen and Burl STULL, Mindy
STUART, Randy, Karen, Andrea and Nick TAYLOR, Monica PETERSON, Brandon FELL and Anna Belle KNIGHT, all of Mount Ayr;
Stasia TAYLOR NICKLE of Clearfield; Jack, Becky and Mary CALDWELL of Redding; and Bob, Lori, Brett, Maisie and Kylee
TAYLOR and Aleine TAYLOR and guest, brother Leroy HOWIE of Creighton, PA. Sixty-four attended the reunion this year.
