Simon and Pauline Chaplinski lived in Williams, Hamilton Cty. until their deaths in 1911 and 1918.They are both buried in St. mary's Cemetary in Williams. They are my great grandparents through their son Frederick. I have desperately been trying to find what town or province they originally were from befoire emigrating to the U.S. in 1875. I've found Pauline's death record and her obituary (in the Webster City newspaper) but can find no record of Simon's death in any Iowa death index. Pauline's information didn't help me in my search but I'm hoping Simon's will. Any information that can be provided about Simon's death or immigration would be most appreciated.
