Samuel Parker lived for a time in Nebraska, was in Soldiers’ Home at Melford, Nebraska and transferred to Iowa Soldiers’ Home where both he and second wife died and were buried. Divorced from first wife. No children by second marriage. When son John Parker was ten years old his father and step mother were living in Indianola. Son of John Parker, now (as of Dec 1941) 28 years old was in National Guard 14 years.
