Bård, I located some information for you regarding Paulina Ofstad Vidal. I will also post it to the Lee County IA website since your query was on the Wapello County website. Hope this helps your research a little. This is what I found:
Paulina Vidal died in Lee County, Iowa on January 21, 1879. Her husband, Pietro/Peter Vidal died there on September 7, 1875. They are both buried in the Scandinavian Cemetery [Row 2, lot 59] in Montrose Township, Lee County with their sons Fred and James Vidal.
The dates of death come from Pietro Vidal's probate file in Lee County, Iowa which is over 54 pages long and contains death dates for both Paulina and Pietro confirmed by daughter, Lia Dupy, when she becomes the administratrix upon her mother's death.

LIA MARIE DUPY occurred Wednesday, January 10, 1923, at 8:30 p.m. at the home of her son, JIMMIE JESSE DUPY, 1120 Morgan street. Her health has been failing for the past year, but she has been seriously ill only a few days. Death was caused by myocarditis.
LIA MARIE VIDAL was born in Barcelona, Spain, March 9, 1853, and came to the United States with her parents, PEDRO and PAULINE VIDAL, in 1858 at the age of five years. Miss Vidal married SOLOMAN LAFAYETTE DUPY of Summitville, Iowa, October 10, 1872, who preceded her in death a number of years ago.
Mrs. Dupy is survived by three sons, JIMMIE JESSE DUPY and OSCAR WILDE DUPY of Keokuk and WILLIAM LAFAYETTE DUPY of Ottumwa, Iowa and six great grandchildren. One brother, FRED VIDAL of Summitville, also survives. Three brothers and one sister preceded Mrs. Dupy in death. Mrs. Dupy has lived in Keokuk for about sixteen years and for the past ten years has made her home with her son, JIMMIE JESSE DUPY. She was a member of the Christian church.
Funeral services will be held at the residence, 1120 Morgan street, Friday afternoon at 2:30 and interment will be made in the Hickory Grove Cemetery near Summitville.

LIA MARIE DUPY of 1527 Bank Street - Death Occurred SaturdayThe body of JAMES SERING VIDAL, who died in Lander, Wyoming, Sunday night, September 26, 1909, at 9 o'clock, will be brought to this city for burial in the Scandinavian Cemetery. The remains left Lander Wednesday and are expected to arrive either Friday or Saturday.
The deceased was born in Barcelona, Spain about 55 years ago in 1854. At the age of three he came to this country with his parents PEDRO and PAULINE VIDAL. He resided at Summitville, Iowa until he was 18, when he entered college at Salem, Iowa. For several years he taught school and was professor of music at Auburn, Missouri. He returned to this city and studied law in the office of JOHN E. CRAIG. After being admitted to the bar, he went west to Lander, Wyoming, where he was engaged in the practice of law for twenty-one years. He was county attorney for twelve years in the county in which he resided. He had been ill for about a year.
The deceased was a brother of MRS. LIA MARIE (VIDAL) DUPY of 1527 Bank street, and also leaves two brothers to mourn his loss, FRED VIDAL of Vincennes, Lee county, Iowa and PEDRO VIDAL of Brownsville, Texas.

Has Lived on a Farm Near Summitville Most of His Life. Is Survived by 3 Nephews, One in KeokukThe death of FRED VIDAL of Summitville, Iowa, occurred at the Graham hospital in Keokuk, Thursday, Spetember 15, 1927, at 9:00 p.m. He was stricken with paralysis about a week ago and was brought to the Graham hospital four days before his death.
Mr. Vidal was the last of his immediate family and was a native of Spain having been born there at Barcelona, Spain seventy two years ago in 1855. When but a small boy he came to the United Stated with his parents, PEDRO AND PAULINE VIDAL, the family settling at Summitville, Iowa, where Mr. Vidal remained on a farm practically his entire life. He is survived by three nephews, OSCAR WILDE DUPY of Keokuk; WILLIAM LAFAYETTE DUPY of Ottumwa, Iowa, and JIMMIE JESSE DUPY of Litchfield, Connecticut.
The body was taken to the Pearson and Holbrook Funeral Parlors. The funeral will beheld Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the residence of OSCAR WILDE DUPY, 1009 Morgan street with burial at the Scandinavian Cemetery in Lee county.
