Luann Secrest Brown Death Date

I want to confirm the correct death date for Luann Brown, I have listed Sept. 3, 1866. The transcription of her headstone located at Highland Grove Cemetery in Fairview Township is listed as follows: 3/12/1860 60 years, 11 months,21 days wife of James Brown. BUT she is listed on the 1860 Jones Co. Census Fairview township, town of Anamosa page 589 along with her husband James and children. The date of the census was June 8, 1860. Any help is appreciated.
