Funeral services for Mrs. Julius R. Klebbe, 63, were held at the Gill Chapel in Strawberry Point Monday afternoon, June 01, with the Rev. Robert L. Smith officiating. Burial was in the Strawberry Point cemetery.
Orla Elizabeth Sousley was born at Strawberry Point October 08, 1895, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Sousley. She was educated in the Strawberry Point school and on February 16, 1912, was married to Julius R. Klebbe at Elkader.
The couple farmed north of Strawberry Point until eight years ago, when they retired and moved to Guttenberg. The past few years they have resided in Manchester and Mrs. Klebbe died in the Delaware County Memorial Hospital there Friday evening, May 29, after having been a patient there for ten days.
Survivors include her husband of Manchester; a daughter, Julia (Mrs. Ray) Sauerbry of Sacramento, Calif.; a daughter, Ada (Mrs. Clair) Faust of Strawberry Point; a sister, Neola Young of Was__a, Minn.; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister, a daughter, Mary Lillian Sickles, and a son, Julius R. Klebbe, a casualty of the Korean War, who died in Korea on November 01, 1952.
