Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Scully were held from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Strawberry Point Saturday, Feb. 07, at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Father Robert Palen the clergyman. Interment was in the St. Mary cemetery at Strawberry Point.

Born Aug. 21, 1879, in Allamakee County, Mrs. Scully was the daughter of Henry and Rose (Baldwin) Rushman. On May 04, 1898, she was married to Dennis Scully of Osage. She was a member of the Catholic church and the Royal Neighbors lodge. She resided near Luana for the past 22 years and died there Wednesday evening, Feb. 05, following a long illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two infant sons. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Everett (Zelda) McTaggart of Volga, and four sons, Durward of Elkader, Thomas and Leonard of Luana, and Lanse of Strawberry Point.
