COX CREEK: Mrs. Claude Neuton died suddenly at her home southwest of Manchester, Nov. 23rd. She had been at the home of her parents in Cox Creek, assisting in caring for her mother, Mrs. J. F. Hines, who recently received a broken arm when she fell while coming down the stairs in he home. Mrs. Neuton died the day after she returned to her home.
Edna Louise Hines was born in Cox Creek township in 1891. In June, 1910, she was united in marriage to Claude Neuton of Cox Creek. Since 1919 they have resided on a farm near Manchester.
Mrs. Neuton is survived by her husband, two children, Lawrence of Manchester, and Mrs. Noble Pugh of Lodomillo township, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Hines of Cox Creek, and a brother, Otto Hines of Fort Dodge. Funeral services were held at the Shelly funeral home in Manchester, and burial was made in the Cox Creek cemetery.
Those attending the funeral from here were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Sturm, Mrs. Dora Gordon, J. F. Hines, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Gordon, Mr. and Mrs. Sol Childers, Mr. and Mrs. Grover Kahrs, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Coonfare.
