Hamlett - Nodurft marriage - 1951

Miss Dorothy Nodurft, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Nodurft of Lamont, became the bride of Marvin Hamlett, son of D. J. Hamlett of Strawberry Point, in Emanuel Lutheran church in Strawberry Point on Oct. 15. The Rev. S. J. Meyer, Pastor, officiating. Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. George Fousek, aunt and uncle of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Lamont high school and has recently been employed by the Union Bank and Trust Co. of Strawberry Point. The groom is a graduate of Strawberry Point high school and has been engaged in farming with his father.

Following a wedding trip to the Wisconsin Dells, the couple will be at home on a farm near Strawberry Point after Oct. 20.
