Berns - Smelzer marriage - 1951

Miss Angeline Schmelzer, daughter of Henry Schmelzer, became the bride of Robert Berns, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lynch Tuesday, Oct. 16, at St. Joseph's church. The Rev. L. C. Ickel officiated. The bride was attended by her sister, Irene, and the groom was attended by a friend, Francis Stroschein. Ushers were Kenneth Schmelzer and Jerald Berns. The Acolytes were Joseph Hildebrandt, Jimmy Schmelzer, Donald and Norman Berns.

After a trip to the south the couple will live at Garnavillo.
