October 2020 October 22, 2020: Many thanks to Ann Trullinger!! Ann walked and photographed many Audubon County cemeteries over the past year, and photos of all existing gravestones in Adventist Cemetery are now complete on Iowagravestones. September 25, 2020: Added vintage photos of the Knud and Kersten Rasmussen Family of Poplar, contributed by a great-granddaughter of Knud and Kersten's daughter Marie (Rasmussen) Christensen. June 22, 2020: Added 1880 Federal Census Mortality Schedule 5, enumerating Audubon County residents who died during the year ending May 31, 1880 (June 1, 1879-May 31, 1880). June 16, 2020: Added 1938 8th Grade Promotion Exercises. June 16, 2020: Added photo of Annie Tibken, who taught township/country school in Audubon Township circa 1900-1905. Also added an additional photo of Herbert & Emma Hocamp at Fort Worden, WA and photo of A Bunch of Iowa Hayseeds, 3 Iowa soldiers and their families at Fort Worden, WA. June 13, 2020: Added Audubon County Population History, including rank among other Iowa counties. May 2020 May 25, 2020: Added D. W. Jensen and the Kimballton Lutheran church's celebration of his ordination anniversary. May 1, 2020: Added biography of Benjamin I. Salinger, who was admitted to the bar by Judge Loofborrow and owned land in Audubon Twp. in 1900. April 2020 April 24, 2020: Added photo of an unknown large group circa 1900 that includes members of the Vokt family. It is unknown if the group is extended family or possibly St. John's Lutheran Church (Audubon Twp.) members. Also added Audubon Then...and Now (2003) Table of Contents and Index of Family Biographies. April 16, 2020: Added photo of the original St. John's Lutheran (Audubon Twp.) church building and several additional vintage group photos. Does anyone recognize any individuals in the photos? This church was located at the county line between Audubon and Guthrie counties, drawing members from both counties. April 2, 2020: Added a second vintage photo postcard of Albert the Bull and 5 more Street Scenes. Thanks again to David Shedlock!
