1. Dr. C. V. Beaver, Anita, Iowa, was born in Page county, Iowa, November 21, 1857, and lived there until he went to Grant, Iowa , in 1887. He remained in Grant seven years, practicing his profession , and in 1894 went to Anita and engaged in the practice and has remained there since. He attended the Northwestern Medical college at St. Joseph, MO., and graduated there in 1885. In 1893 he took a post-graduate course in polyclinics at Chicago, and in 1900 took post-graduate at Chicago and special studies in several branches. He is a member of the K. of P. and I.O.O.F. lodges and also a member of the Cass County Medical Association. He has a large and growing general practice in medicine and surgery and finds time to take part in public affairs and takes his recreation in studying the mysteries of electricity and applying his discoveries to useful purposes, a number of which have already been patented.
2. Dr. H. E. CAMPBELL, Anita, Iowa, was born at Plain Grove, Lawrence county, Tenn., November 16, 1865. He attended college at Grove City, Penn., a Presbyterian institution of learning. He entered the medical department of the University of New York in 1889 and completed his medical degree in 1891. He had one year's private instruction in physical diagnosis and practice in Bellevue hospital under the celebrated prof. L.L. LOOMIS. He commenced practice at New Castle, Penn., and remained there two years. He was one of the physicians in the hospital corps in Shenango Valley hospital at New Castle. He came to Cass county in 1893 and was associated with his brother , Dr. C.L. CAMPBEL , at Lewis for one year, after which he went to Cumberland and practiced for three years. From there he went to Anita in 1898 and bought the residence and practice of Dr. C. L. PLUNKETT. He is an Odd Fellow, Mason, and Modern Woodman, and has been examining physician of the latter six years. He has a splendid practice and is an enterprising citizen.
3. Dr. Chas. D. FINLEY, osteopath, Atlantic, Iowa, was born in the city of Washington, D.C., June 29, 1878. He graduated from St. Joseph's college of Baltimore , Md., Randolph Macon academy of Fort Royal, VA., and Still Osteopathic college of Des Moines, Iowa. He conducts the Atlantic Infirmary of Osteopathy at 610 Chestnut street.

Dr. I. Z. PLUNKETT, Lewis, Iowa, was born at Council Bluffs, Iowa, Februrary 25, 1873, and lived there twenty years. In the spring of 1893 he began the study of medicine with his brother, Dr. C.C. PLUNKETT, at Anita, Iowa, and in the fall of 1893 entered the Marion-Sims College of Medicine at St. Louis, Mo., graduating in April, 1896. May 1, 1896, he began the practice of medicine at Lewis, Iowa, and has continued there ever since. His ability as a physician soon drew to him a large list of patients and these he has constantly added to. He is a member of the Masonic , I.O.O.F. , K. of P., M.W.A., W.O.W., M.B.A., Eastern Star and Rebecca orders and is active in all of them. Personally genial and professionally proficient, he has won for himself an enviable standing in his home town and in his profession.
