Mrs. Slinn, 76, Dies Saturday

Mrs. Hallie M. Slinn, 76, formerly of Ottumwa, died Saturday evening at the Nelson Nursing Hpme in Fairfield where she had been a resident since suffering a stroke a year ago.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m., at the Bonaparte Cemetery with Rev. D.O. Van Dyke officiating. The Behner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Slinn was born Feb. 20, 1900 at Mystic, Iowa, the daughter of William and Molly McIntosh.

In 1918, she was married to Hubert G. Slinn, a World War I veteran. He died May 13, 1950.

She had lived in the Bonaparte Community for 19 years and was a member of the Bonaparte Church.

She is survived by one son, James W. Slinn of Ottumwa.
