Marjorie Lucas

Marjorie R. Lucas, 74, of the Wapello Nursing and Care Center, formerly of Keokuk, died Friday, October 4, 1991 at the care center.

Born October 1, 1917 in Stockport, she was the daughter of N.E. and Mabel M. Buchanan Crawford. She was married to Milford D. Brown, who died n 1933. She then married Glenn I. Lucas, who died in 1974.

She spent most of her life in Burlington. Before her retirement she worked at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, Middletown.

Surviving are one daughter, Norma Miller of Muscatine; one son, Richard D. Lucas of Jacksonville, Florida; eight grandchilren(err) and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, October 7 at Vigen Memorial Home with Reverend James Davidson officiating. Interment was in Oakland Cemetery at Keokuk.

Memorials have been established for the Wapello Nursing and Care Center at Wapello.
