Ray W. Mullins

Ray W. Mullins, age 65, of Austin, Texas died Sunday, June 24, 1990. He was a retired hospital administrator and former administrator and former administrator of Van Buren County Hospital. He was a member and deacon of the First Presbyterian Church and a volunteer for Recording for the Blind.

Survivors include his wife, LaVerne Mullins of Austin; son, Ray W. Mullins Jr. and his fiancee, Gretchen Higgins of Fort Collins, Colorado; brothers, William Mullins of St. Charles, Mo., and Dr. John Mullins of St. Louis, Mo.; father-in-law, W. Luther Estes of Austin; sister-in-law, Bobbie Cook of Anchorage, Alaska; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were Wednesday, June 27, in Capital Memorial Park, Austin, Texas, with Reverend Jane Van Auken officiating. The family request in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church or Recording for the Blind, 404 West 30th, Austin, Texas 78705.
