Wayne H. Biggs

Wayne H. Biggs, 57, Fairfield, Iowa died at 12:50 p.m. Monday, July 9, 1990 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield. He had been ill several months.

Mr. Biggs was born February 25, 1933 in Jefferson County and was a lifelong resident of the area. he was manager of Tribune Printing Co. in Fairfield for 32 years. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was also a manager of Foreign Wars.

On January 20, 1956, in Fairfield, he married Cleda Clark, who survives.

Also surviving are his mother, Clarice Olson Biggs, Fairfield; a son, Allen of Fairfield; two daughters, Lynda Rickelman, Fort Madison, and Alicia Biggs, Fairfield; two brothers, Charles of Fremont and Alden of Fairfield; a sister, Arlene Roberts, Fairfield; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Biggs.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 12, at the Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with Dr. James Dunlevy officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield.

A memorial is being established.
