Married at the home of the bride parents on Wednesday evening, June 16, 1897, at 8 o'clock, Mr. Elmer E. Sowers and Miss Margaret Watts. These are two of Ames best young people. Mr. Sowers is a clerk in Bigelow & Smith's store and is known by everyone in and around Ames to be a nice young man and a business hustler. Miss Watts has been for a number of years a teacher in the Ames schools and is known to be a fine young lady and a good instructor in the school room. THE WATCHMAN extends hearty congratulations.
