Married in Cedar Rapids Yesterday.

Cards have been received here announcing the marriage of Sibyl May Sowers and Arch C. Montgomery, which took place Tuesday, March 28, in Cedar Rapids. The couple left here yesterday morning for that place and are expected in Nevada this evening where they will be at the home of Mrs. Montgomery's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Sowers, in this city, for a time until their home on the groom's farm, one mile west of Shipley, is ready for occupancy. Both bride and groom are members of prominent Sory county families, the former, as was stated, being a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Sowers, who with his family, has but lately moved to the city from his farm in Milford township. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Montgomery, residents of this city but lately returned from touring in Florida. The young people are most favorably known and the Journal joins their circle of friends in most hearty congratulations and wishes for long and continued happiness. The cards read "At home May the first 1911, Nevada, Iowa."
