JAEGER, SCHWEIN, MEINERT, JENNER, PETERSON, MOELLER, SWANSON

I am a descendant of Hinrich Jaeger (born 10/22/1826, Ploen, Germany) who immigrated on 11/16/ 1881 (New York, NY) to Scott County, IA. His wife, Caroline Wilhelmina (Bernholtz) Jaeger, his daughter Caroline (and her two children Johanes and Augusta), and sons Hinrich, Carl Frederich, and Christ Frederich immigrated with him. Both Hinrich and his wife, Caroline, are buried in the Dixon Cemetery, Dixon, IA.
The daughter, Caroline married Rudolph Schwein in Iowa on 09/10/1884. They had four children: daughter Dora Carolyn Schwein (married Harry N. Meinert), daughter Martha Louise Schwein (married Emil Koberg), Henry Christian Schwein (married Anna Christine Siercks), and a son Harry Schwein who died in infancy.
Caroline and Rudolph farmed in Liberty Township, Scott County (Section 36). The 1920 US Census reflected the son, Hinrich, his wife Augusta and their son, Ferdiand were farmers (Berry Farm) in Pierce County, WA. The son Carl Frederich and wife Annie purchased a farm in 1900 near Royal, IA. The youngest son, Christ Frederich (my grandfather) lived in Davenport (Ward 2), per the 1900 US Census and relocated to New York State sometime between 1920-1923.
I am seeking information on the Jaeger (sometimes misspelled as Jager), Schwein, Meinert, Jenner, Peterson, Moeller, and Swanson families. I will gladly share any information/data that I have complied on the above families. I was thrilled to find the iagenweb.org website and Lynn McCleary, who sent me the link to the page that listed email addresses of people who were also searching for genealogy information on their families.
