RITES FRIDAY FOR FRANK WHITTINGTON

SHANNON CITY- Funeral services for Frank WHITTINGTON, 80, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Shannon City Methodist church. Rev. Sam BOUSER will officiate. Burial will be in the Shannon Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jess FOY, Avery SANDERSON, Lyle STREAM, Walter VORHIES, Donald VORHIES and Clarence EKLUND. Mr. WHITTINGTON's body is at the Varner-Crew funeral home at Diagonal.

Mr. WHITTINGTON, a lifetime resident of Union and Ringgold counties died at the Horton nursing home, near Mount Ayr, at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. He had been in the nursing home for the past eight months.

RITES FRIDAY FOR FRANK WHITTINGTON

SHANNON CITY- Funeral services for Frank WHITTINGTON were held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Methodist church in Shannon City. Rev. Sam BOWSER of Tingley officiated. Music at the service was by Mrs. Rex SIMPSON, organist, and Mrs. M. J. WILKINS who sang "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "At the End of the Road". Burial was in the Shannon City cemetery.
