OBITUARY.

Charles F. ZOLLMAN was born in Ringgold county, Iowa, Dec. 10th, 1867, and died February 17, 1923, aged 55 years, 2 months and 17 days. The remians were laid to rest in West Fairlawn cemetery. Funeral services were held at the South M.E. Church, conducted by Rev. DeVORE, and Rev. OUSLER of Dill City. The pall bearers were Wyley DUNN, Spurgeon and Dave ELLIOTT, John LEEPER, Claude BURNETT and George THOMPSON. Interment was in Fairlawn cemetery, in charge of in charge of Grubitz & Son. Relatives from a distance were unable to be here on account of sickness.

The deceased, when two years old moved with his parents to Nebraska, on a home stead and lived there until he was 21 years of age. He then went to Montana with the intention of being a cowboy, but through an accident be changed his mind and became a miner, living at Butte and working in the mines until 1908, when he moved with his family to Oklahoma. On December 27, 1905 he was married to Miss Pearl E. ZOLLMAN at Lexington, Virginia. To this union were born four children, Joan E. aged 16, John D. aged 14, and James Winston aged 9 who still survive him and Neta May who died in infancy. Besides his family one brother Roy ZOLLMAN and family of Butte, Montana, and three sisters Mrs. W. D. BURROUGHS of LaFayette, Ind., Mrs. Joe SINNOTT of Tacoma, Washington and Mrs. J. C. WOLFE of this place, and other relatives and frients are left to mourn his loss.

In 1911 he joined the South M. E. church at Elk City and was still a member when he died, having assured his loved ones and friends that he was ready and willing to go to meet his Savior. Mr ZOLLMAN was a good husband and father, also a good neighbor. For several years he has been a sufferer from stomach trouble and diabetis (sic), which caused his death and suffered intensely at times. He had been confined to his bed since the 4th of January.

TRIBUTE TO CHAS. ZOLLMAN
Sunday afternoon the funeral of Brother Charles ZOLLMAN was held from the Methodist Church, South. Brother ZOLLMAN was born in Iowa, fify-five years ago and came to Oklahoma fifteen-years ago, settling on the farm where he lived until his death. In the time he has resided here he built up a host of friends who filled the church to pay their respects and sympathize with his family.
