Funeral services for Roger H. Boulet, 61, Muscatine, were held Jan. 13, 1989 at the First Presbyterian church in Muscatine, with the Revs. Eugene Augustine and Telford Dindinger officiating. Joan Beumont was the organist and pallbearers were Marlin Schreck, Dean Ripson, Steve Quinn, Richard Lovelace, Ron Alpen, Thomas Kindler, Henry Tack and Allan Lacock. Honorary pallbearers were Leonard Birkner and Alson Turner. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Mr. Boulet died Jan. 10 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City.

The son of William Sr. and Aileen Bower Boulet, he was born April 24, 1927 in Lisbon, N.H. He married Doris Hermann Feb. 14, 1951 in Wilton.

Mr. Boulet retired from the U.S. Army in 1966 and had been employed at the C. J. Sabbath Lumber Co. in Pleasant Prairie and the Hawkeye Lumber Co. in Muscatine.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian church in Muscatine, where he had served as a deacon. He was a member of the board of directors of the White Pigeon Mutual Insurance CO. in Wilton and a member of the Davenport Consistory and the KABBA Shrine. He was a member and past master of Iowa Lodge No. 2 AF and AM, past patron of Electa Chapter No. 32 Order of Eastern Star, a Rainbow "Dad," York Rite and Elks Lodge No. 304, all of Muscatine.

He is survived by his wife, Doris; a son, Roger Jr., Fairfield; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Barbara) Loos, Chatsworth, Calif.; a granddaughter; his mother, Aileen, Warren, N.H.; 2 brothers, William Jr., Warren, N.H. and Arthur, Littleton, N.H. and a sister, Mrs. Douglas (Marion) Goble, Ferndale, Mich. He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Crippled Children's hospital or the Durant Ambulance Service.
