Lester G. Boyle, 72, of Earlham, died of a heart attack July 13, 1994 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. The body was cremated and memorial services were held at the Penn Center United Methodist church with the Rev. Harold Koughn officiating.

He was born May 19, 1922 to Cordavon J. and Cora Louise (Imboden) Boyle. He married Mary Boyle on Fe. 13, 1944. He was a retired farmer and lived in Madison County all of his life. He was a member of the Penn Center United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Mary Boyle of Earlham; one daughter, Charlotte Walker of Phoenix, Ariz.; one son, Nick Boyle of Earlham; two sisters, Mable Gilman and Mildred Willison, both of Earlham; one brother Dale Boyle of Earlham; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
