DES MOINES - Merrill Miller Morris was born November 6, 1924 to Arthur and Reva (Miller) Morris. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Merrill retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

Merrill died Sunday, June 17, 2018 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Darlene; and two brothers, Dick and Lester.

Merrill is survived by his son, Ron (Sara); four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and his sister, Mary Lou Waterbury.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., Sunday, at Brooks South Town Chapel at Sunset Memorial Gardens with his funeral at 2 p.m. Interment will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
