OTHO E. CHASE

Otho Earldean Chase, 63, of 1700 Sixth Ave. died of a stroke Sunday at home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Chase was born in Madison County and had lived in Des Moines for 30 years. He was a member of Salvation Army.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothea Leach of Des Moines; a son, Joseph Chase of Des Moines; a brother, Melvin Chase of Stuart; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
