Wilma Claire Fritz, 71, of 424 Second St., West Des Moines, died of cancer Wednesday at Hospice Kavanaugh House. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at McClaren’s Funeral Chapel, and burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.

Mrs. Fritz, a retired seamstress, was born in Madison County and lived in West Des Moines most of her life.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna Klyn of West Wayne; two sons, William of Phoenix, Ariz., and Randy Sr. of West Des Moines; two sisters, Melba Rhiner of West Des Moines and Ruby Garner of Flint, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Kavanaugh house.
