Caesar Bonnichsen, a well known resident of Columbus Junction, passed away at his home at 2 o'clock Friday morning, August 6. His death was sudden heart failure being given as the cause of his death. He was born in Hamburg, Germany and came to this country when twenty-three years old. He was united in marriage to Miss Jame Dawson at Wapello, October 15, 1874. Deceased is survived by five sons and three daughter, who are George, Robson and Gustave Bonnichsen, of Buht, Idaho; Rudolph and Fred, of Columbus Junction and Mrs. Mary Burnir, of Cedar and the Misses Helene and Florence at home.
