Mabel Beatrice Blanchard, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Blanchard passed away last Friday after a short illness. She was born November 1, 1914 and died June 18, 1915, being 7 months and 17 days of age. She was a sweet, winsome baby and was the pride of the family, The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Blanchard home west of town conducted by Rev. Charles Blanchard, of Des Moines. Interment was made in the Wapello cemetery. Those of the immediate family who remain to mourn her death are her father and mother, three sisters, Edith, Bessie, Nellie and two brothers, Marion and Edwin.
