Mrs. C. S. Reynolds died quite unexpectedly at her home here last evening about 8 o'clock, death being due to heart trouble. Mary Elizabeth Spiker was born in Ohio, April 14, 1858 and died at Wapello, Iowa, April 21, 1915, aged 57 years and 7 days. She came to Iowa with her parents when about 14 years of age and has resided here ever since. She was married to A. J. Wheeler November 20, 1877, who preceded her in death July 5, 1884. She was married the second time to C. Sterling Reynolds on August 23, 1895.

Mrs. Reynolds was the mother of eight children, three death and five living. She is survived by her husband, five children, three sisters and two brothers. Deceased was a member of the Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held from the Church of Christ Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Geo. L. Thorpe. Interment in Wapello cemetery.
