Edson F. Munshower died at his home in Morning Sun, October 17th. He was born October 31, 1853, in Peoria county, Illinois, where he resided until fifteen years of age, when he with his parents came to Louisa county, Iowa. On February 17, 1876, he was united in marriage with Sarah A. Dryden. To this union were born three children, Daniel C., at home, Edson B., of Morning Sun and one daughter, Winnie M. of Lenox, Iowa. Deceased united with the M. E. church at Marsh, Iowa, December 8, 1895. On account of poor health he had not been privileged to attend upon the services of the church. Funeral services were conducted at his late home, on Saturday afternoon, by Rev Geo. Blagg, of Morning Sun. Interment was made in Elmwood cemetery.
