The five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Lane residing north of Morning Sun, died last Wednesday night, July 24th, of lockjaw. A week before his death the child ran a rusty nail into his foot. Symptoms of lockjaw appeared last Tuesday and he suffered intensely until his death. Funeral services were held from the family residence last Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Geo. Blagg. Interment in the Bown cemetery, north of Morning Sun.
