Page 2Columbus Junction - The funeral over the remains of Miss Anna Bowman was held Thursday morning from the Harry Schoch home in Columbus City. Rev. A. W. Lawrence, pastor of the U. P. church, had charge of the services. interment was made in the Columbus City cemetery. Deceased was born in Polk county, Tenn., on Oct. 13, 1828, and died at Cordon, Iowa, July 9, 1912. She came to Iowa with her parents in 1854 and located in Columbus City, where she made her home until six years ago when she went to Cordon, Ia., to live with her only brother, Ellis Bowman, who with his daughter, Mrs. Nora Youngblood and his son, Harry accompanied the remains here for burial.
