Hello.

My grand father was harry howard scott, he was born in Quincy, Ill Dec 25, 1889. His mother was Lura or Lara Scott. His father was Howard Scott born 1854 fort madsison iowa. His father was Winfield Scott his mother on the death certificate was written as 'unknown'. Howard sent a messege to his son Harry and his grandsons via Pearl Cobb harrys sister the messege was "i'am indian not mexican ie spanariard as your mothr has told you"

My father was Paul Harry's oldest son. I beleive howard lived in the half breed tract and was at leat half suk and fox. Howard has been hard to find, possibly because of the native blood. all help is appreciated.
