Great Grand Father

Hello.
I need help in finding my great grand father Howard Scott. His Faters name was Winfield. Howard was born in 1854 in For Madison . Iowa. He was married to Laura or Lura Scott. He had Harry, Frank, And Pearl by her. Harry was born december 25, 1889? . Howard and L.cott were divorced in 1900. Lura raised the children in Quincy, Ill just across the Missippi, He sent a message to my grandfaternwho was Harry, that he was not"mexican or spanard as your mother has told you" I am Indian.(Possibly Sac and Fox) Howard lived near Keouk and was a farmer. Because he was at least half Native american it has been very difficult to track him . He died in the late 1940's
