re: Katherine Josephine Beckner Proctor. In April 2004, I spoke on the phone with Firman McBeth of Fremont, Iowa. He is her uncle, although they are approx. the same age. He told me that although she had been declared legally dead (this is not confirmed), she returned to Iowa in 1962 following the murder of her immediate family members. Firman McBeth then put her on a bus and never saw her again. I would like to know more about her being declared legally dead.
