My Great-Great-Grandfather was Joseph Holub, son of Joseph & Mary Powlishta Holub. Joseph's oldest daughter Thelma Holub Jones was my great-grandmother and lived at Holub Crossing until she passed in 2004. She mentioned they came from the Bohemian Islands and that her grandmother couldn't speak English. That was really all she remembered.
