Joan Dinnel - I am mainly concerned with one uncle. Since posting this, I have found out that he was born in Davenport. So the story goes, his father was a doctor of German decent and his mother a nurse of Native American decent. This uncle was born on 2/25/1921. This would all make sense as my uncle's mother, my grandmother, took her nurses training at Moline Public Hospital back in 1908 and may have made some contacts and friends with doctors and nurses. Birth certificate gives no clues, DNA test was done - waiting on results.
