I found James McGuire & wife Margaret Brannan. James was born abt. 1805 Clark County Ohio; parents Francis McGuire & Elizabeth Barnes; died Jan 1, 1856 Jefferson County Iowa; burial Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery Liberty TWP; Libertyville, Iowa; plot 40. Margaaret is also buried there; plot 39. Her first husband was James Searles.

Francis McGuire was born abt. 1760 and died October 13, 1805 Clark County Ind; burial; Silver Creek Cemetery; Charleston Twp Clark County Ind. He married Elizabeth Barnes Oct 10, 1789 Bourbon County KY.

James married Margaret Brannon Searles March 6, 1829 Clark County Ind; her parents were Charles & Ellander Brannon.

1856 Census has Mrs. Margaret McGuire age 48 born KY Liberty Twp; has been in Iowa for 14 yrs.

Susannah McGuire died 1866 box 38
